Tom Brady could have ban reduced

Published Add your comment

We begin in the NFL, where league commissioner Roger Goodell stated yesterday that he is open to hearing from Tom Brady with regards to his deflategate suspension. Goodell said he was happy to receive any new information from the Patriots quarterback, with many believing that this is the first step to Brady’s four-game ban being reduced. Elsewhere in the league, Tom Younger, the agent of Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has rejected recent speculation that his client would require surgery this offseason. The comments come after reports earlier this week suggested the young QB needed an operation to address numbness in his right ring finger. Across to the NBA, and the Cleveland Cavaliers have the early advantage in their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Atlanta Hawks. Cleveland’s 97-89 road win in Game One means the Hawks now face an uphill battle to reach the NBA Finals.
