Last night NXT Takeover Unstoppable rocked the WWE Universe and it featured one match which was nothing short of breath taking.
It wasn't the battle between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship or even the powerful clash between Rhyno and Baron Corbin.
Instead it was the match for the NXT Women's Championship between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.
The two divas were involved in a match which will surely be a contender for match of the year when the end of year awards come around.
Banks vs Lynch will surely be there with John Cena vs Rusev and the Fatal 4-Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship which both took place at Payback on Sunday.
The NXT women's division has been revolutionising the role that women play in the WWE for some time now, but it may finally be going one step further.
There are strong rumours right now that there is a rift between the leaders of the Authority Triple H and Stephanie McMahon and the founder of the company Vince McMahon.
It has been suggested that the rift has centered the role that women play in the WWE currently and the idea of changing it.
Inspired by the rise of UFC Champion Ronda Rousey and her role at WrestleMania XXXI earlier this year and her global profile in general, the Authority are said to be looking to change women's roles.
Although there isn't really any news regarding how they would change women's roles or what they change them to, the issue is set to have caused a problem.
The opposition to the idea is coming from Stephanie's father Vince who is firmly behind keeping women in their current role in the company.
For many years, women have been used as managers, love interests and for those who do compete, they have been given the minimal amount of time for their in-ring performances.
Who knows what the future of the women in WWE will hold but as it appears right now, they could be set for a huge turn around.
A big year
The Diva's division has witnessed a lot of big developments in the last 12 months and it has all spawned from NXT.
Ahead of Summer Slam last year, the Divas were booked as the closing segment of RAW for the first time in 10 years.
Stephanie herself along with Brie Bella were the women to end RAW that night and following the success of NXT, the WWE Universe made their voice known.
Using the hashtag 'give divas a chance' the fans called for more time spent on the women's division and that is what they got with stars like Paige, Naomi and the Bella Twins being featured more heavily.
