Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao posted a cryptic Instagram message on Thursday evening, hinting that he is tempted to take a big risk in his career.
The 29-year-old, who will almost certainly leave Old Trafford following a dismal season-long loan spell, is expected to play his final match for the Red Devils this weekend before rejoining parent club AS Monaco.
Falcao’s high-profile agent, Jorge Mendes, is currently working hard to find him a new club for the 2015-16 campaign - and it’s possible that he could stay in the Premier League, with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool reportedly interested in securing the Colombia international’s services on a temporary basis.

So, does Falcao’s latest Instagram post indicate that he will stay in the Premier League by potentially joining one of Manchester United’s rivals? This is what he had to say.
“To make changes and decisions in life is not easy! But there are times when you have to do it!” he wrote. “Just risk it!”

Slim chance Falcao will stay at United
There’s still a remote chance that Falcao will stay with United for a second season. Despite his struggles in front of goal this term, Louis van Gaal has been impressed with the striker’s attitude.
But a pitiful return of four goals from 29 appearances simply isn’t good enough for a striker earning a reported weekly wage of £265,000.
United should offload Falcao this summer
Falcao was certainly a gamble worth taking for Manchester United; this was a striker, prior to this season, widely regarded as one of the best in the world thanks to his extraordinary exploits with FC Porto and Atletico Madrid.
Sadly, though, the serious knee injury he suffered in January 2014 has left a shell of the striker who was, for a little while, considered the best number nine on the planet.
However, some United fans fear Falcao will rediscover his best form next season and that, as a result, Van Gaal should keep him at Old Trafford for at least one more campaign.
On the flip side, offloading Falcao and his monstrous wages would allow Van Gaal to bring in a more dynamic, younger striker to help the Red Devils compete in the Premier League and Champions League.
