Real Madrid star Sami Khedira has revealed on Instagram that he's set to leave the club behind at the end of this season.

Khedira, who is not in Real's squad to take on Getafe this evening in the final game of the La Liga season, has admitted that he will miss the club as he thanked the staff and teammates at the Bernabeu.

The German international, despite helping his national side to World Cup success in this past summer's tournament in Brazil, has endured a torrid campaign under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti, failing to establish himself as a regular in the side.

And now he's revealed that he will be leaving the club behind, as he released the following post on social media:

"Valdedebas for the last time. I am moving on but I will surely miss my club Real, all of its staff and my unbelievable teammates! Guys, it was one heck of a ride!!!
#thankyou #halamadrid."

Huge interest

It appears, then, that with the player available on a free this summer, a number of clubs will be hoping to secure his signature.

In fact, of late, the quartet of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been credited with interest in the Real Madrid star, so it remains to be seen as to whether they step up their interest anytime soon.

Ideal signing

You have to feel that Khedira is the robust-type of midfielder that would only excel in England's elite division. There's no doubt about it, especially on a free, he'd make a remarkable signing for either of Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United, so the three clubs should go all out to try and persuade him to arrive.

Chelsea, on the other hand, despite already possessing the likes of Nemanja Matic, Cesc Fabregas and Co., would only improve in the midfield department as he'd offer them another option in the middle of the park. The trio of Premier League clubs must make their move sooner rather than later.
