WWE: Booker T reveals he fears for Dean Ambrose's career

Published 13 Comments

Dean Ambrose is enjoying a great rise in the WWE right about now.

After becoming the forgotten about third wheel following the breakup of The Shield, 'The Lunatic Fringe' has really come in to his own as of late and is reaping the rewards of his excellent performances with a main event at the Payback PPV under his belt.

Whilst Ambrose will be hoping to get his hands on that WWE World Heavyweight Championship that currently adorns Seth Rollins' shoulder, one WWE legend has said he is worried about Ambrose's career.

Booker's Worry

WWE hall of famer Booker T recently appeared in an interview with The Troy Show and revealed that he is seriously concerned about the longevity that high octane WWE superstars can have, and he singled out Dean Ambrose specifically.

""I look at guys like Dean Ambrose and they throw caution to the wind every single week and I go wow how long will these guys be able to do this? I lasted 20 years. I don't think a lot of those guys will be able to last that long," Booker said, via Wrestling Inc.

Booker went on to add that he believes the younger guys really have to tone down their move set and the danger levels of what they do.

"I think these young guys have to think a little bit better about how they are going to perform. They've made it. I could have done the Harlem hangover until I was 40… People didn't just want to see that, they wanted to see me perform," he went on to say.

It might be a good idea for Ambrose and those like him to work smarter in the ring, else they risk wearing down their body to an almost unworkable level in not that long at all.
