Former WWE Diva and current TNA Knockout Gail Kim tweeted her distaste for the way the WWE women are treated last night as she tagged both Triple H and Vince McMahon in her tweet calling them sexist.

The former Women's Champion responded to a fan who asked about the divas main eventing shows, after the NXT Takeover event, and she replied:

"At least @TripleH has a clue on how to book women. @VinceMcMahon needs a clue. #sexist #WomenCanMainEventAnyDay."

Any change?

It is currently a widely known fact that the NXT divas are being booked better than the current crop of main roster women and NXT Takeover: Unstoppable proved that further with two solid divas matches on a two hour card and one of those matches was contested for the NXT Women's Championship, lasted more that 20 minutes and is potentially the divas match of the decade.

The whole #GiveDivasAChance movement didn't seem to do a lot for the women on the main roster as the division as been in decline since before AJ Lee retired from the company. Once again the Divas Championship failed to be defended at the Payback pay-per-view, instead there was a six minute divas tag match that meant nothing at all.

The night after the Divas Championship was defended on Raw instead, which means the title has now been defended more times on Raw this year than it has on the pay-per-view events.

Terrible times for Divas

The longest divas match in the current era was Lita vs Trish Stratus at Unforgiven in 2006 for the women's championship, this lasted for eleven minutes. By comparison, the NXT Women's Championship has been defended at all six of the previous special NXT Events and there hasn't been a single match that was under 10 minutes long.

The Divas in NXT are allowed to tell a story and build upon a rivalry. The main roster divas are there to entertain the crowd for five minutes.

Yes the crowd at Full Sail University are different and they are behind whoever is working it in the ring, but even NXT live tour shows are gaining a great reaction and it seems that Triple H knows how to book a show better that Vince McMahon.

This is the latest in a long list of reasons why WWE will become so much better when Triple H takes over. Hunter delivers compelling, dynamic storylines that entice the viewer. Vince is happy to go with what he thinks is best and not care about the reactions of his audience.

The Divas Division needs to start to count because the NXT Women are some of the best wrestlers in the world right now. They aren't going to want to be called up to the main roster when they are given more freedom and opportunity in the development territory.
