Chelsea Football Club celebrated their league title at the club's Player of the Year award ceremony last night, where Eden Hazard was the shining star.

However, the show stopper turned out to be none other than The Special One, Jose Mourinho. The manager was called onto the stage for his speech and he delivered a classic one with the help of visual aids.

Mourinho magic

The manager sent out a general message where he said his players weren’t respected enough last year, when they fell short, and that his team and staff respected Manchester City’s win (although they defeated them twice in the league).

The next part of his speech was hilarious. Mourinho decided to tell a fictional story of how his club won the league amongst other competitors.

Special jibes

He targeted Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United first, opting to mock their excessive possession without any goals. Next he targeted Manchester City, claiming that they only cared about scoring goals, also hinting that they forgot about actually winning the league.

Finally, he targeted his old nemesis Arsene Wenger, declaring that Arsenal want to win the league on the basis of January to May results only.

Complete season

He finished it off by showing his team and saying that all his team’s motive was to score one more goal than the opposition and win the match. He agreed that they need to park the bus in some situations as well.

Mourinho has been criticised by the footballing world for winning the league in a boring manner but this speech was a true picture of his style.
