Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns need to stick together to achieve WWE success

Published 2 Comments

It is no secret that Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are tight.

They have been since the days of the Shield.

When they were betrayed by Seth Rollins I really thought that they would come closer together and form an even greater dual alliance, but they seemed to drift apart, until recently that is.

Helping hand

Dean Ambrose has an amazing opportunity in a one on one match against Seth Rollins for the WWE Heavyweight title on Sunday at Elimination Chamber and one of the main reasons he has that opportunity is because of Roman Reigns.

Roman helped Dean get to the ring on Monday Night Raw after Ambrose was a arrested when The Authority set him up. He was going to be just too late but Reigns bought him a little time just as Triple H said he was going to officially cancel the contract for the match. Reigns jumped into the ring and took somewhat of a beating before Ambrose pulled into the ring in the Police van that took him away at the start of the night.

Ambrose and Reigns joined forces once more to lay the smack down on the Authority, and Ambrose eventually got to the contract to confirm his title opportunity on Sunday.

Much to the dismay of Seth Rollins he eventually signed the dotted line as the authority lost again. Ambrose couldn't have done it without his brother Roman Reigns though, and I'm hoping that this could be the resumption of their in ring brotherhood.

Unstoppable force

Reigns and Ambrose are both absolutely amazing fighters but they are even better together. The rest of the WWE will not stand a chance if they fight together like they did in the Shield.

The Shield was the deadliest faction in WWE history and I think that, although a reunion would be without the 'architect' Seth Rollins, they could be just as deadly as a duo. The Authority may finally have met their match if this happens.

Ambrose has his title shot at the weekend and Roman Reigns plans on entering, and winning, the Money In The Bank match in June. If one has the Heavyweight championship and the other one has the Money in the bank contract, they will be unstoppable. It doesn't matter if Ambrose loses the title then, because he then has the rematch clause, plus, Reigns has the contract.

It would be a perfect scenario for the WWE Universe and a nightmare for the Authority. This needs to happen.

Rollins change

I also think it's about time the WWE higher powers give Seth Rollins a character change. He is one of the people that you really want to like because of how good he is but you can't like him because of his character; a deceitful, cheating and manipulative coward who has no respect for anyone but himself.

This needs to change. The WWE gave us a taste of what could have been when the Shield reformed for a very brief moment at Payback in the main event.

Now that we've had a taste of what we could have again, we want it more than ever. If the Shield was to even partly reform then it would be amazing, but if the Shield was to fully reform with a new and improved Seth Rollins then I don't think I would be able to contain my excitement.
