Manchester United star Marcos Rojo has admitted that he's taking English lessons alongside teammate Angel di Maria.
As reported by The Sun, Rojo, who like Di Maria moved to the Premier League this past summer, has insisted that they are both extremely interested in learning the language as they go about making a success of themselves on English soil.
In fact, Rojo has insisted that he's quickly adapted to the demands of the Premier League, claiming that he's loving life on English soil.
Di Maria, on the other hand, has endured a tricky debut campaign in Manchester after failing to secure a regular place in the starting XI under the Louis van Gaal regime.
It appears, though, that despite the midfielder's struggles, he's still attempting to settle to life in England, as he continues to learn the language.
Rojo told reporters: “I’m taking some English classes with Di Maria.
“Although, to be honest, I have to say we laugh more than learn in those classes sometimes! But we are both really interested to learn more of the language here.
“I have adapted quickly to life in the Premier League and love it.”
Rojo, then, seems intent on continuing his progress in England, and he may well kick on in 2015/16. One thing's for sure, the versatile defender will be hoping to maintain his fitness throughout the course of next season, as injury struggles have halted his progression at times at the Theatre of Dreams.
Di Maria can still shine
And Di Maria can follow him and prove his credentials sooner rather than later. Ultimately, the 2014/15 campaign didn't quite go to plan for Manchester United's No.7, but it's far too early to write him off just yet.
At the end of the day, despite his struggles in the second half of the campaign, Di Maria proved exactly what he can offer in his early days in Manchester: a creator and a goalscorer, there's no reason why the former Real Madrid man won't be able to kick on.
If he can regain his place in the side, and the faith of Van Gaal, then expect the Argentine international to have a huge season at Old Trafford. United shouldn't give up on Di Maria just yet, but he must give up on them. A big year awaits for all those involved. Di Maria could yet become United's talisman as they go in search of securing the Premier League title.
