Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has selected his fantasy Premier League XI of players that he's played with throughout his career.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the midfielder, who spent his final campaign in England's elite division at Manchester City, has picked as many as seven past and present Chelsea players in his dream XI.
Outside of Chelsea, Lampard has gone with the Manchester City duo of Sergio Aguero and David Silva, while he's selected Liverpool hero Steven Gerrard, who he combined with on the international scene for England.
Rio Ferdinand, who he played alongside for his country, as well as at West Ham United, takes the final place in his quite spectacular team.
The 36-year-old has certainly played in some quite brilliant teams throughout the course of the Premier League era, but this XI wouldn't be too bad.
Lampard's fantasy XI
Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Claude Makelele, Steven Gerrard, Eden Hazard, David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Didier Drogba.
One of the greats
One thing's for sure, after a glorious stint in England's elite division, Lampard will go down as one of the all-time Premier League greats.
At the end of the day, his scoring record from midfield really is outstanding, and it will take a special player to compete with him over the coming years.
It's not easy to stay so very consistent year after year, but Lampard continued to prove his credentials with ease. He will most certainly be missed, but will no doubt excel in New York as his career enters the final stages.
