The WWE is currently without one of its top stars in Daniel Bryan who is once again sidelined with an injury and an unknown return date.
Bryan has been rumoured to be making a surprise appearance at Elimination Chamber this Sunday night, but no-one expects his appearance to be in a competing form.
This is the second major injury Bryan has suffered in as many years and the second time he has had to relinquish a title as a result.
Last year Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX, but had to relinquish the title months later after months of carrying an injury.
This time round he has had to relinquish the Intercontinental championship he won at this year's WrestleMania.
Bryan is one of the most popular superstars on the roster and his absence from the company is very noticeable.
But it could have all been so different for the leader of the yes movement as an ex WWE writer has made a huge reveal about his first ever title reign.
We all know that Bryan famously cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at TLC in December of 2011 to claim his first title reign.
However Kevin Erck who was formerly a member of the company's creative team, has revealed that Bryan was never intended to win the title that night.
According to Erck, the then World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry was carrying an injury and Bryan was called on the day of the show and was informed he would be getting the title.
Bryan was scheduled for an autograph session and wasn't even supposed to be at the show but the WWE made the big decision to give him his first title reign.
How differently could the future of the WWE have been if this decision hadn't been made or if Henry hadn't been injured?
Short lived success
Whilst Bryan has taken his career in an upwards trajectory ever since that night in 2011, his first title reign only lasted until the following year's WrestleMania.
At SunLife Stadium in Miami, Florida, Bryan put his title on the line against Sheamus in one of the shortest title matches in WrestleMania history.
