This Sunday at Elimination Chamber, fans are going to be treated to an amazing, yet quickly put together event that is going to be one great show.
From top to bottom, this card will be phenomenal and it's headlined with two main events.
Right off the bat, it should be noted that this event, exclusive only to the WWE Network, is the first event in quite a few months that actually has a tag team championship match.
This is the first time in Elimination Chamber history a tag team match, championship or not, will be contested in the Chamber. Trademark to all of the previous Chamber events, there will be two Chamber matches - the second being for the vacated Intercontinental Championship.
The breaking story here is Rusev.
It was reported Wednesday that Rusev suffered an injury at the taping for Thursday's Smackdown. It has not yet been announced wether or not if he is still competing in the Chamber match. This is a let down as Rusev is involved in the new heated rivalry with Dolph Ziggler and Lana since their split.
The Diva's Championship will also be on the line with Nikki Bella defending against Naomi and the rightful number one contender Paige. For a few weeks we have heard Naomi voicing her justifiable complaint that she has defeated both of the Bella twins twice back-to-back and has only received one Diva's title match and two tag bouts against them.
Paige, before being written out with a scripted injury to film a movie, won an over the top rope battle royal to crown her the number one contender for the Diva's Championship. This match, if treated appropriately, will be very good to watch with a few rather interesting possible scenarios. Naomi as Diva's Champion has interesting implications.
In a grudge match, we will be treated to a rematch that stems from NXT as the Inspirational One Bo Dallas takes on former NXT Champion Adrian Neville. It was Neville that defeated Dallas for the NXT Championship in NXT's first ladder match. Dallas has attacked the left knee of Neville on two occasions, claiming to be 'helping' Neville 'overcome adversity.' The Man That Gravity Forgot is looking to seal the door on this two year old rivalry by defeating Bo Dallas.
The two big matches on the card are the NXT Champion Kevin Owens versus WWE United States Champion John Cena. This is the first time on a pay-per-view that not only an active NXT competitor, but the NXT Champion, is featured on not just a WWE pay-per-view bout, but in a main event.
John Cena on back-to-back weeks has felt the wrath of Kevin Owens' pop-up power bomb. In this match could we see a third? Or a fourth or fifth much in the fashion he has done to Sami Zayn in past encounters?
This will truly be one of the best matches of 2015. John Cena will be facing the toughest opponent he has faced since Brock Lesnar in Kevin Owens.
In the main event, fans are in for a treat as we see for only the second time since the dismantling of The Shield, Seth Rollins versus Dean Ambrose. On pay-per-view, the last time we had the amazing fortune of seeing Rollins and Ambrose featured as the main event was last year's Hell In A Cell which was the catalyst that triggered the amazing rivalry between Ambrose and Bray Wyatt.
This go around, it is a regular one-on-one match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Will we see Seth Rollins retain the championship? Or will we see Dean Ambrose capture the gold for the first time in his career?
The 2015 Elimination Chamber will truly be a historic event, and it's not one to miss.
