Jack Wilshere doesn’t like Tottenham and on Sunday May 31st, he just had to tell everybody.

For the second year in a row Wilshere confirmed his hatred of all things Tottenham by leading the thousands of fans gathered outside the Emirates Stadium in a chorus of s**t Tottenham chants.

The England international was a second half substitute as Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-0 at Wembley on Saturday afternoon, and clearly he revels in his role as trophy-winning conductor.

He asked fans: “What do you think of Tottenham?”

This is a bizarre question to ask of Arsenal fans as Tottenham had absolutely nothing to do with the FA Cup final or anything else on this particular Sunday. I imagine he was just curious.

Perhaps Nacer Chadli is wondering the streets of White Hart Lane asking bemused Londoners, “What do you think of Arsenal?” and then diligently noting down their responses in a leather-bound pad.

Now, for any fan, whether their allegiance is Arsenal or Tottenham, the only logical answer to this question is “Sh*t.”

And the Gunners fans obliged.

Wilshere’s questioning did not end there though.

“What do you think of sh*t?” he added.

Again, apart from betraying a possible sh*t fetish, Wilshere clearly has not picked up much from his years in front of Gabriel Clarke and Geoff Shreeves.

How did the Arsenal fans, drunk of the magic of the FA Cup, respond?

“Tottenham.”

Beautiful.
