Lionel Messi set to wear new Champions League final boots

Lionel Messi has worked with sponsor Adidas to create his very own boots for Saturday’s Champions League Final.

When Messi takes the field in Berlin, looking to further cement his place as the greatest of all time, he will do so wearing boots designed to make the most of his talents.

The adidas MESSI15 has been designed with Lionel Messi himself to produce a boot that will help him beat their Italian opposition.

A selection of new product innovations have gone into producing the latest Adidas shoe. The new messiTOUCH, messiFRAME and messiPRINT technologies will come together to provide Messi with added stability, grip and power for the game.

2015 has unquestionably been the year of the Messi. The Argentinian has swept aside all before him this year, and this weekend he will attempt to win the UEFA Champions League for a fourth time and complete the treble for Barcelona.

Messi has scored 286 La Liga goals since he emerged into the Barcelona first team, 58 of which coming this season.

The Argentine’s magic was on display most recently in the Copa del Ray final on Saturday as his brace lead Barcelona to a 3-1 victory.

Messi was in sparkling form for the fixture as his first goal of the game will go down as one of the greatest cup-final goals of all time.

Messi will be looking to repeat the feat on Saturday in front of a packed house at the Olympiastadion in Germany and his new boots may prove the difference for his side.
