Manchester United remain favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund star Ilkay Gundogan despite ongoing talks with Barcelona and Bayern Munich, reports German newspaper Der Westen.
The Germany international has already confirmed that he will not extend his current deal at Dortmund, which expires next summer.
With the club keen to get a transfer fee, they will allow Gundogan to leave this summer and several clubs are interested in acquiring his services.
Two of those clubs are Barcelona and Bayern Munich and the player confirmed that he has already held talks with both the Spanish and German champions.
Reports asked the midfielder if he was current learning Catalan or Bavarian, to which he replied: "We are holding talks yes, but no decision has been made. I can't say more than that on this."

But reports today have suggested that Old Trafford remains the likely destination for Gundogan with many of the required terms already agreed.
Louis van Gaal is on the lookout for a powerful midfielder to replace the frequently injured Michael Carrick. The 34-year-old is still deemed an important part of the team at Old Trafford, but has suffered a worrying amount of injuries this season.
The Dutchman is looking to replace him and has previously looked at AS Roma's Kevin Strootman and and Juventus star Paul Pogba.
However, the former has been struggling to recover from a serious knee injury while it is unknown if the latter would consider returning to Manchester.
Gundogan would be cheaper than market value as he only has one-year left on his deal, but would arrive with plenty of risk attached to his name.
The Germany international spent almost 18 months on the sidelines with a mystery back injury and only fully recovered from it earlier this season.
While he has shown signs of his previous form, he is yet to hit those heights consistently. If he can rekindle that form though, he could prove to be a title-winning acquisition.
Is Ilkay Gundogan the right man for Manchester United?
