Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has saved a fan from security this week whilst boarding his national team coach.

One fan broke free from a contingent of supporters that had come to wave Sanchez and the Chile nationa team off before they travel to compete in the Copa America.

The starry-eyed supporter seemed desperate for a picture with the London-based superstar and was immediately confronted by security staff as she ran toward the footballer for a photo.

Things took a turn for the worse though as the clearly distressed women dropped her phone as she was prevented from getting close to Sanchez.

Luckily though the kind-hearted forward saw the incident and came over to give the fortunate fan what she wanted.

Sanchez made sure she was alright before putting his arm around her and letting her snap a picture, before getting a peck on the cheek as a thank you.

Sanchez has every right to be in good spirits too, having scored 25 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season and winning the FA Cup all in his first season at the club.

Sanchez will have to keep focused though as the first fixture in his national sides attempt to win the Copa American on home soil is on June 11, against Ecuador at the Estadio Nacional, Santiago.
