Pavel Nedved caused controversy on Tuesday night in a charity game, after the former Juventus forward made a horror challenge on Italian rapper Moreno, according to the Daily Mail.

The spritely Italian rapper had masterfully nutmegged the footballing superstar earlier on in the game, and it seems the former Czech Republic man was looking for revenge.

The rapper then tried to round Nedved again but this time the midfield maestro was having none of it.

The 42-year-old hurled himself into the tackle and caught Moreno heavily on the foot, leaving him sprawling in pain on the ground.

The resulting scenes could have been from a fierce Italian derby rather than a light-hefted charity match.

Nedved’s team mates took aversion to the rappers reaction to the challenge, confronting both him and the referee.

Wonderful career

The former international has won Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Serie A footballer of the year in his 18 year career, but Nedved is clearly still as competitive as ever in his approach to football.

Nedved, who scored 84 league goals in his time in Italy was once given a five match ban after seeing red against Genoa in December 2006.

Big names

The charity game included famous faces from around the globe including Massimo Allegri, Alessandro Del Piero and Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher.
