GMS – Steve, it’s a pleasure to have you speak to us at GiveMeSport. Most mainstream UK wrestling fans will know you from TNA's big UK tours as a referee (who takes bumps), what encouraged you to join in this Lucha Future show?
Steve – “A few years ago I went to see Lucha future at Brighton, I met with Blue Demon Jr and when they announced their return to the UK and to the Royal Albert Hall, I was delighted to have been invited to referee alongside their own referee.”
GMS - Can fans expect a difference between the upcoming Lucha Future show and a TNA or WWE UK tour show?
Steve – “Absolutely, Lucha is fast paced it's a real work of art to watch these guys in the ring, not only the wrestling but the show as a whole is a totally different experience. As well as the Lucha Stars, there will also be music from Bostich & Fussible.”
“This will be an amazing night, truly different from a TNA/WWE show.”
GMS - With the popularity rise in North America of the Lucha style, thanks in part to Lucha Underground's success, who should the fans be excited to see in the ring when they arrive at the Royal Albert Hall?
Steve - “There will be 16 Lucha stars flying in from Mexico. As well as Blue demon Jr you will have stars from AAA such as La Parka, Pyscho Clown Villano 4, Hijo del Fantasma, also four mini-estrellas (mini stars) and also female Luchadoras.”
GMS - Will there be any surprises?
Steve – “Like I said, it's a totally different experience watching a Mexican show, a mixture of fast paced action and amazing music it will be like stepping into Mexico. Wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now...would it???”
