One of the biggest off-season sagas is now by all appearances, over as Adrian Peterson has seemingly returned to the Minnesota Vikings.
Peterson has missed eight and a half months following his suspension back in 2014 due to a criminal arrest.
Peterson did everything he could in order to get back to the NFL and after being taken off of the Commissioner's exempt list, his future became a big question.
The former NFL MVP made it no secret that he didn't want to return to Minnesota and people began picturing him in other teams colours.
The Dallas Cowboys were the name most commonly linked with him but nothing ever really happened with the Vikings maintaining that they wanted to keep him.
Peterson has now attended a week of Viking's OTA's and it now seems that the question marks over his future are gone.
But after such a long time away, many people were questioning how well prepared, how physically fit and good Peterson would actually be when he returned.
Well after three days of workouts, Vikings cornerback Captain Munnerlyn has revealed all.
"The guy is in unbelievable shape, like he hadn't missed a step, and he's out to prove a point." - Munnerlyn on Peterson
Peterson may be 30 years of age now but he is clearly still full of ability and his return to form certainly makes the Vikings a more frightening prospect.
Munnerlyn wasn't the only Vikings member to be happy with Peterson's performance with offensive co-ordinator Norv Turner also being filled with praise.
"He just comes out and looks like he hasn't missed a day. It was nice having him."
Vikings play-off drive?
The Vikings were in the hunt for a wild card play-off spot last year despite not being one of the more dangerous teams in the league.
Rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater impressed everyone last year and is now preparing for his second year as a pro.
With Peterson and Bridgewater in the backfield for the Vikings, their offense appears now to be one that could potentially keep up with divisional rivals the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.
