French midfield legend Zinedine Zidane believes Juventus star Paul Pogba should move to Real Madrid if he decides to leave Italy this summer.

The Real Madrid Castilla boss has said the Santiago Bernabeu would provide Pogba with the perfect platform to showcase his talents.

Zidane made a similar decision in his playing career when he jumped ship from Juventus to play for the Spanish giants in 2001.

Pogba has gone on to develop into one of the worlds best midfielders and is arguably the games most promising young player.

The 22-year-old has played a key role in Juventus’ successful domestic and European campaigns this season.

Zidane urges Pogba to join Real Madrid

Pogba’s rise from rejection to becoming one of the world's best midfielders has seen the player linked with several top clubs in Europe; including a return to Manchester United, a move to Chelsea or, most recently, a summer switch to Real Madrid.

La Liga and Serie A winner Zidane believes Pogba should ignore interest from other teams and join the Spanish outfit:

"I don't know where he will end up, I have no information," the Real Madrid Castilla coach told Radio Monte Carlo. "Pogba has the quality to play wherever he wants.

"Now, if he has to leave Juventus... I adore Real Madrid and the best players play here, so I think it would be good for him to come.

"This is not a current issue right now but he has incredible potential."

Paul Pogba could already be building bridges with Madrid fans as his side have the opportunity to prevent Barcelona from lifting the Champions League just a year after Madrid won La Decima.
