WWE finally comments on Superstar's worrying injury

Football News

2015 appears to be the year of the injury in WWE.

From Daniel Bryan (again) and Sami Zayn, to Goldust and Rusev not a week goes by, it seems, without another Superstar going down with some sort of issue.

With rumors have been circulating over the past 48 hours or so that another star name has suffered a scary sounding injury, the WWE have been forced to comment on the situation.

We brought you news late last week that Tyson Kidd had suffered an injury at a recent dark match following Raw, with reports suggesting the Superstar, in a match against Samoa Joe, had sustained a spinal or neck issue. In light of the speculation the WWE have only now issued a statement acknowledging the issue:

"Tyson Kidd sustained an injury while competing in a non-televised match against Samoa Joe last Monday night, June 1, in San Antonio. As the former WWE Tag Team Champion continues to be evaluated," read the message on their official website.

Whilst the WWE have confirmed that Kidd is facing a spell on the sidelines, it is strange that they haven't gone into detail on just exactly what happened to him against Samoa Joe.

As it stands the WWE Universe is having to rely on heresay which, at this point, has led many to believe Tyson Kidd injured his upper spine. We do know WWE medical staff attended to him after the event.

Personal updates

Although the WWE isn't offering up too many details on exactly what their wrestler is dealing with, Kidd's better half, Natalya, has told fans that it has been a "rough week", whilst posting the below message of thanks:

WWE fans: What do you think is the reason for the injury curse? Have your say in the comments below...
