Juan Cuadrado looks set to join Inter Milan on loan this summer just four months after completing a move to Chelsea.
According to talkSPORT, the Colombian’s agent will head to London this week to finalise his loan move to the Italian side.
The deal will be an initial £1 million loan fee with a view to making the switch permanent at the end of the season.
Despite signing a four-and-a-half-year contract just months ago following his £26.8 million from Fiorentina, he only played 12 times for the Blues and is not in Jose Mourinho’s plans for next season.
This has had many Italian teams on red alert as they looked to bring the 27-year-old back to Serie A, with Roma rumoured to be in competition with the Nerazzurri for his services.
But the San Siro side have beaten competitors and look set to announce the deal later this week, as agents finalise the agreement.
In the opposite direction, Mourinho is looking to bring in three players this summer and is thought to be keen on Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann and Raphael Varane with Champions League success firmly on the agenda at Chelsea next season.
