Manchester United might be busy preparing to find a new goalkeeper if David de Gea leaves them for Real Madrid this summer but Inter Milan star Samir Handanovic won’t be the man they recruit. His agent has responded to transfer speculation confirming that he has had no official interest from the Red Devils, instead insisting that his client is busy negotiating a new deal at the San Siro which would make the idea of him leaving in the coming weeks redundant. So far Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris looks like being the favourite to replace De Gea if he moves on, although Victor Valdes remains in reserve. Elsewhere Javier Hernandez has hinted that he could stay at United next year despite the consensus being that he will leave. The Mexico international is set to return to Old Trafford from his season-loan with Real Madrid, and could stay there to reinforce Louis van Gaal’s frontline.
