Arsenal's Lukas Podolski could be set for a return to the Emirates this summer following a disappointing loan spell at Inter Milan, the player himself has confirmed.
Podolski had fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal, following the signings of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck at the club, and boss Arsene Wenger allowed the former Bayern Munich forward to leave on loan in January.
However despite opportunities appearing limited at Arsenal, Podolski told the London Evening Standard that he was likely to return to London.
The German international is however progmatic about his future saying that in view of speculation regarding his future "things can change in the upcoming weeks or even days." Adding that Arsenal are a "great club" and if he was to stay with the Gunners, "I could help the team."
Whatever the future does hold for Podolski, who has established himself as a real favourite amongst the Arsenal fans, he will not allow himself to drift- "I still very much feel like playing football. Let's see what happens. I will not vanish from the football world."
Alongside the potenital exit of Podolski , Arsenal could also see fellow forward Joel Campbell and Yaya Sanogo both linked with moves away from North London this summer.
