Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger confirmed that he will discuss his future with the club this summer.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, the Germany international, who led his country to World Cup success last summer, insisted that he's in no rush to sort out his future, but will talk to the club's chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the near future.
This news will no doubt come as a boost to Premier League giants Manchester United, who have been heavily linked with a move for the versatile player in recent time.

Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is seemingly determined to be reunited with the 30-year-old sooner rarther than later, as the Dutch boss goes about improving his options in the middle of the park at Old Trafford.
It's certainly not surprising that the Manchester outfit are interested in the Bayern man, as he's proved one of the most consistent figures on the European scene over the last few years.

A move to the Theatre of Dreams is most certainly possible for the player, who revealed his plans after participating in Germany's 2-1 defeat at the hands of the USA last night.
The midfield ace told ARD TV: "I have agreed to discuss my future with Rummenigge during the summer.
"I still have one year left on my contract. That's why I am in no rush, even more so because it's still only early summer."
It's uncertain as to whether Manchester United will press ahead with a move for the player's services in the near future, with Rummenigge recently admitting that the club will only consider allowing the midfielder to leave if he asks for a move.
He stated: "I don’t know if the story has weight, but from our point of view it’s clear - we would only consider a transfer if Bastian were to confront us with a concrete wish. That’s not the case."
At the end of the day, if Manchester United are serious about challenging for the Premier League title next term, then signing Schweinsteiger would prove an unbelievable coup for the club.
Ok, so at 30-years of age, some will suggest that he's past his best, but he still has more than enough to offer, and would prove a terrific player in the middle of the park for the Red Devils. He'd certainly bring a winning mentality with him to Manchester, and would help the club on the European scene next season, too.
With United's star midfielder Michael Carrick struggling on the injury scene and not getting any younger, the Bayern star could prove quite the signing over the next couple of years for Van Gaal and Co. United must make their move sooner rather than later.
