Gerard Pique trolls Real Madrid fans

Gerard Pique was jeered by his own supporters while on international duty this week but, so high is he riding following Barcelona’s treble success, there would appear to be nothing that can bother the Spain defender.

Seven days ago Pique was in Berlin marking a third Champions League triumph of his career following a 3-1 victory over Juventus at the iconic Olympic Stadium, completing what was a sensational season for Barcelona.

During the celebrations that followed back at the Camp Nou, Pique aimed a barb at Cristiano Ronaldo and, it would appear, some Real Madrid fans weren’t particularly happy - and decided to let the Barcelona centre-back know it.

Pique was booed by Madridistas among the Spain support as he came on for Sergio Ramos during the 2-1 win over Costa Rica but, quite frankly my dear, he really does not give a damn about such behaviour.

The former Manchester United man was asked by reporters how he felt about the reaction his appearance had received, and he stuck the knife into Real Madrid once more with a fine response.

He said: "I don't care...I've just won the treble!"
