Last nights Money in the Bank Ladder Match was a fantastic way to kick off the show live on the WWE Network.
The match featured three former Money In The Bank winners; Kane, Dolph Ziggler, and Randy Orton, as well as two men who have never been in the match before, Roman Reigns and Neville, and two men who have been in and never won, Kofi Kingston and Sheamus.
The match was brutal from start to finish and it showcased much of the talent involved, but it was the ending that had everyone stunned.
Neville had taken out all of the competitors with a breath taking moonsault from the top of the ladder to the men below, leaving everyone down. At this point, enter Big E and Xavier Woods to assist Kofi. The entire New Day would meet an untimely demise at the hands of Roman Reigns, though, and he would begin his ascent to the top when the lights would shut off.
When the lights came back on, it was Bray Wyatt who was waiting for a very surprised Roman Reigns and with one violent Sister Abigail, Reigns was completely removed from the match leaving Sheamus and Neville to make the climb.
In the end, Sheamus emerged victorious. But the real story is Bray Wyatt. Why was Reigns targeted? The question may be answered on Raw.
This newly built rivalry, if handled right, has the makings of one of the best in recent history. It will make Reigns better in the end.
Looking back on recent Bray Wyatt pairings and seeing the immense success that follows anyone that The Eater of Worlds has feuded with goes without question.
Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, the list goes on. These have also made Wyatt that much better as well. Wyatt, in recent months has been the victim of bad booking by WWE, lets hope that this story carries out the way it should.
