Mohamed Salah has spent half of last season on loan at Fiorentina and could possibly be extending his stay in Italy, as Inter Milan are looking to splash out on the Egyptian midfielder, according to a report in the Daily Mirror.
The Chelsea man returns to Stamford Bridge after an impressive season at Fiorentina saw him score wonder strikes against Juventus and bag nine goals in 26 games.
Failure at Chelsea
The winger failed to make an impact in London, but he helped Fiorentina finish fourth and gain entry into the Europa League next season. Fiorentina were keen on securing the trickster's services on a permanent basis as he is surplus to requirements at Chelsea.
However La Viola are set to face stiff opposition to sign Salah as Roberto Mancini is keen on the player's services at the San Siro, and will be looking to loan the player with the option to buy for a fee of around £12million if reports are to be believed.
Did Chelsea make a mistake?
Egyptian Salah joined the Blues back in 2014 but struggled to make an impact after impressing at FC Basel. He became part of the deal that saw fellow struggler Juan Cuadrado make the move to the Bridge from Fiorentina in January, with Salah going the other way and enjoying a more impressive term.
Cuadrado has also been linked with a move away from Chelsea after making little impact in his first six months at the club.
The Colombian was the talk of the transfer window as he moved to England from Florence, but, struggling to adapt to life in the Premier League, Cuadrado has started only four games and didn't look overly impressive in any of them.
Chelsea fans, would you mind if Salah left again this summer? Do you think Cuadrado should be given more time? Let us know in the comments box below.
