Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has uploaded a photo of himself alongside fellow Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain to Instagram.
Higuain is reportedly on the radar of both Manchester United and Chelsea - although his current employers, Napoli, insist that any club wanting to secure his services will need to pay his £71 million release clause - and this latest photo could intensify the speculation surrounding his future.
Higuain, 27, is widely regarded as one of Europe's most reliable goalscorers. This season he netted an impressive 29 goals in 56 appearances for Napoli, while last term he netted 24 in 46 games. Before that, during his seven years with Real Madrid, the South American scored 122 goals in 264 appearances.

Subsequently, with Napoli having failed to qualify for next season's Champions League and with Rafael Benitez having left the San Paolo, United and Chelsea - who are both in need of a new striker - are keeping close tabs on Higuain.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis told reporters this week that the only way Higuain will leave the club this summer is if a "madman" triggers his buy-out clause.

Higuain will leave Napoli - if he wants to
Despite his various qualities, no club is prepared to pay the astronomical fee in Higuain's contract. But if the player expresses his desire to leave the club this summer, Napoli will effectively be forced to listen to reasonable offers.
As has been proven on an increasingly regular basis in recent years, once a player decides he's had enough at a particular club, he'll often get a move regardless of how much his employers are desperate to keep him. Player power is here to stay.
Fans urge Rojo to help United sign Otamendi
While a few Manchester United fans responded to Rojo's post with messages urging him to convince Higuain to join the Red Devils, the majority of messages were calling for the versatile defender to convince another of his Argentina teammates to sign for Louis van Gaal's side.
"Bring Otamendi back with you," wrote one United fan.
Another replied: "Get Otamendi to Man Utd."
Meanwhile, another user had a more sinister plan, tweeting: "Kidnap Otamendi."
Nicolas Otamendi, Valencia's influential centre-back, is understood to be Van Gaal's secondary defensive target behind Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels.
Rojo set tongues wagging earlier this month by favourite a tweet urging Manchester United to sign the £35 million-rated defender - but, as things stand, the Red Devils are yet to make a formal move.
