Good morning Chelsea fans, we hope you’re up, enjoying the sunshine and ready to absorb the latest when it comes to Stamford Bridge-related news.

With the Copa America in full swing it’s not fair to state that there’s nothing to occupy your time now that the Premier League season is over, but all the same rumours and gossip complement to off-season like Jose Mourinho complements Chelsea.

As such we’ve scoured the latest threads and forums, whilst also going through the papers, to come up with the biggest stories to be found on the Blues today. What do you know, we’ve also compiled them below.

Oscar sale on the cards?

Chelsea are to negotiate with Juventus for the sale of Brazilian midfielder Oscar, with the Turin-based outfit having sent representatives to discuss an £18million deal.

According to reports Oscar fell out of favour with Jose Mourinho in the latter stages of last season and that’s encouraged Juve that transfer talks could be successful.

The 24-year-old is a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge but Mourinho could let him leave if the price is right. It’s not been made clear yet whether or not £18m is enough, but one would expect Juve have it within their budget to go a little higher if needs be.

If he does go then Chelsea fans can expect to see some sort of replacement drafted in - after all Oscar is a regular first-team option at The Bridge - but we’ll try and refrain from getting ahead of ourselves until some sort of official confirmation is offered either way.

Rahman interest

In other news it’s believed that the Blues are considering a move for Bundesliga starlet Abdul Baba Rahman, as they see him as the ideal man to replace Filipe Luis. Rahman currently plays for Augsburg and is rated at £15m, having enjoyed a good season at the SGL Arena.

Luis’ future has yet to be formally clarified but since he’s been forced to play second-fiddle to Cesar Azpilicueta for the majority of his time in west London a move away can’t be ruled out altogether.

Courtois and the ten year stay?

Last but not least it’s good news surrounding the future of Thibaut Courtois, as the Belgian international has hinted that he could stay with the club for around 10 years.

Recent speculation has seen him linked with an audacious move to Real Madrid, but his comments appear to have put that idea to bed.
