Blues are in talks to sell one of their first-team players

Chelsea are to negotiate with Juventus for the sale of Brazilian midfielder Oscar, with the Turin-based outfit having sent representatives to discuss an £18million deal. According to reports Oscar fell out of favour with Jose Mourinho in the latter stages of last season and that’s encouraged Juve that transfer talks could be successful. The 24-year-old is a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge but Mourinho could let him leave if the price is right. It’s not been made clear yet whether or not £18m is enough, but one would expect Juve have it within their budget to go a little higher if needs be. In other news it’s believed that the Blues are considering a move for Bundesliga starlet Abdul Baba Rahman, as they see him as the ideal man to replace Filipe Luis. Rahman currently plays for Augsburg and is rated at £15m, having enjoyed a good season at the SGL Arena.
