NXT is in better shape than ever right now, as star after star comes through the WWE's developmental territory.
Kevin Owens has been proudly parading the NXT title around on Raw and Smackdown, giving John Cena the whooping of a life time in the process, while Samoa Joe has come in and immediately established himself as one of the biggest shirt sellers in the company.
And don't you dare sleep on the Women's Division. The feisty females of NXT have been tearing it up, even headlining some shows, which would be unthinkable for an episode of Raw or Smackdown. And that has not gone unnoticed.
There's been a lot of speculation recently regarding the current Divas storyline with Paige talking about bringing change to the division.
According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Paige's feud with The Bellas will end with at least one top NXT Diva being called up to the main roster.
As of right now, that call up could possibly be any one of Charlotte, Bayley, Becky Lynch or even the NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks.
This seems oddly reminiscent of a story line that NXT has done already, albeit in the men's division, that Triple H has decided to bring up with him to the main roster.
In the NXT version, Hideo Itami was attacked by The Ascension - a heel tag team - and was getting beaten every time by them because he had no friends backstage in NXT that would help him. That is exactly what Paige is going through right now.
Eventually, Hideo unveiled Finn Balor - the former Prince Devitt in New Japan - and the duo teamed up to kick the living hell out of Konnor and Viktor, who would go on to be the biggest flop of 2015 when they got promoted to the Main Roster.
The Women's division in NXT is incredible right now and any of Charlotte, Bayley, Banks or Lynch would immediately become a top contender for the Divas Championship. The girls in NXT are actual wrestlers compared to the models in WWE who are just hopeless in the ring.
Charlotte is the most likely to be called up thanks to her experience, the fact that she is the daughter of Ric Flair won't exactly hurt either, but she is a talented wrestler in incredible physical shape who could dominate in WWE, if given the chance.
