It's been a tricky season for Manchester United winger Angel di Maria, but there's a chance he could still finish it in style with Argentina in the Copa America.
The midfield ace will no doubt hope to play a key role throughout the competition in Chile, as his national side look to get over last summer's heartbreaking 1-0 World Cup final defeat to Germany.
And Di Maira and Co. have made a pretty solid start after securing four points from their opening two group games.
And in Argentina's last outing - a 1-0 victory over Uruguay - Di Maria looked back to his old self, as he ran at defenders for fun throughout the proceedings.
While it was his Manchester rival Sergio Aguero who struck the only goal of the game, Di Maria produced one fine moment, as he nutmegged his opponent in style to set his side up for an attack.
This piece of class, of course, is what Manchester United fans were hoping to see on a regular basis at the Theatre of Dreams last term, but the club's faithful will most certainly be hoping to see the best out of their club record signing next time around.
Permanent position needed
If Manchester United are going to see the best of Di Maria in 2015/16, then it's crucial Louis van Gaal and Co. hand the player a permanent position.
At the end of the day, it was always going to prove a tricky opening campaign for the Argentine at United with the club seemingly in transition, but the Manchester United hierarchy must now bring n added balance to the side sooner rather than later.
And that will only benefit Di Maria, who must play week in, week out in a settled side. There's no reason why the man brought in from Madrid can't act as the club's talisman next season, as the Red Devils go about securing a place at the summit of the Premier League table.
For now, though, he will most certainly be hoping to rediscover his best form on international duty, before joining up with United for their pre-season tour of the US.
