Former Arsenal defender Lauren has dropped a big hint that the Gunners have completed the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech - by posting a tweet expressing his best wishes to the veteran Czech Republic international.

Cech is expected to complete his move to the Emirates Stadium within the forthcoming weeks - after Chelsea reportedly agreed to sell him to their Premier League rivals - and Lauren, who won the title with Arsenal in 2002 and 2004, is confident that the deal will go through judging by his latest tweet.

“#All the best to Cech,” he wrote. “Long time without stability in that position and another great gooner move to get the Premier League.”

The London Evening Standard claim Cech will complete a £14 million move to Arsenal after the Gunners rejected a swap deal offer which would have seen England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain move in the opposite direction.

Cech has been assured by Wenger that he will be the first-choice goalkeeper at the Emirates next season - and this decision could result in the exit of David Ospina.

Wojciech Szczesny, however, is set to stay with the Gunners despite knowing he will lose his place in the first team to Cech.
