The agent of Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has played down speculation linking his client with a prospective move to Premier League rivals Chelsea after suggesting that the chances of him leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer are "almost zero".
ESPN carries quotes from the Bosnia and Herzegovina international's representative Irfan Redzepagic which effectively rule out any possibility of the 29-year-old joining the newly crowned champions in the forthcoming transfer window after he insisted that the player remains happy with the Citizens.
Dzeko endured a frustrating end to the 2014/15 campaign after losing his place in Manuel Pellegrini's starting XI, falling further down the first-team pecking order following the January arrival of Ivorian marksman Wilfried Bony from Swansea.

He made just 23 appearances and contributed four goals last term, which is far less than the 16 goals he chipped in with in 31 appearances during City's title-winning campaign the previous year.
However, Redzepagic says that despite his lack of regular action in recent months Dzeko is content in Manchester and has no plans to push for an exit any time soon, particularly after penning a new four year contract which ties him to the club until 2018 last August.

"The chances of him leaving are almost zero," he confirmed in an interview with Nezavisne. "Edin has a contract with City and is happy at the club.
"Where the playing time is concerned, several factors affected it. There were two injuries that took their toll but, all things considered, there's no reason for dissatisfaction with his time in the club where he won four trophies."
Redzepagic added: "Every day they [the papers] are linking him to another team. First it was Atletico, then Juventus and now Roma, Chelsea. These are all journalists' guesses and speculations, repeating with every transfer window. I'm bored with repeating that there's nothing in it.
"Edin is currently on holidays. He hasn't rejected any offers, because there simply weren't any. That is the whole truth of it."
