Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech WON'T be joining Serie A side Inter Milan this summer, according to the player's agent.
The veteran shot-stopper is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after falling down the pecking order in West London.
Since the return of Thibaut Courtois from a three-year loan spell in Spain with Atletico Madrid last season, Cech has been limited to the n
Cech's Season at Chelsea
The Blues 'keeper has been number-one at The Bridge for the past decade, but was told by Jose Mourinho at the beginning of this season that he would be second-fiddle to Courtois, who is ten-years younger.
Courtois impressed during his three year stint in La Liga, and he was told ahead of the season that he would be the club's new number-one, dropping Cech to the bench.
Despite being told about the plans for the season, Cech decided to stay put with Chelsea and was adamant he'd stay and fight for his place. However, his game-time was limited throughout the 2014/2015 campaign and was only used in cup competitions or when Courtois was sidelined.
A year on, Cech is desperate to leave the club, ending his long-term association with them, and is ready to join fierce-rivals Arsenal.
The two London clubs have been in deep negotiations, which have gone on for weeks now due to Mourinho not wanting to sell to a direct rival.
However, Cech has told Chelsea that he doesn't want to leave London as he doesn't want to relocate his settled family, meaning The Gunners are the only realistic move for him.
Despite Mourinho not wanting to process the deal, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has told Cech he can choose his next move because of the services he gave the club throughout the past decade.
Moving Abroad NOT An Option
Since declaring his intentions to leave, Cech has been linked with a move abroad, with Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan both interested, but his agent has confirmed that a move to Italy is simply not an option.
As mentioned before, Cech doesn't want to relocate his children and his agent, Viktor Kolar, has reiterated that desire.
“I have heard many rumours in the last few weeks of a possible move to Inter Milan, but that doesn’t correspond with the reality with regards to Petr Cech,” Kolar explained.
“There has never been any offers from the Nerazzurri, they were just rumours and we never talked about this.
"Regarding Arsenal, I can’t say too much on that.”
