The WWE have been having an absolute terrible time with injuries as of late.

Daniel Bryan was forced to give up a title for the second time in a year as he re-injured his neck having only just come back from nine months out, while The Usos had to drop the tag titles and haven't been seen in months after Jey Uso suffered a shoulder injury in the run up to WrestleMania 31.

Things have been just as bad in NXT where two top stars aren't set to return until the end of the year. Sami Zayn and Hideo Itami both got hurt within weeks of each other, with Zayn suffering his injury whilst making his RAW debut against John Cena.

Kidd Surgery

In addition to all of those, it seems like one recently injured WWE star is set to go under the knife. According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Tyson Kidd looks like he is set for an operation on his neck.

As we have previously noted, Kidd suffered a neck injury in a recent RAW dark match with Samoa Joe, whom the WWE have only recently signed.

Kidd tweeted "A little pre-op today. Grateful to have my best friend by my side. In 36 hours I unleash my mutant healing powers... " along with a picture of him with Natalya in what looks like a hospital bed, with a brace on his neck.

Samoa Joe Shocker

The injury reportedly occurred while wrestling a match against the debuting-Samoa Joe tapings for “Superstars.” Kidd reportedly took a bad bump during the match that left him needing to be checked out by officials.

It is said the injury occurred when Kidd was taking a muscle buster from Joe. He reportedly landed on the base of his neck, instantly putting pressure on the area. If this were the case, it would support both reports of a neck and spinal cord injury of some sorts.

For those who haven't seen it, this is what a a Muscle Buster looks like....

Everyone at GiveMeSport hopes to see a successful surgery and Tyson Kidd back in a WWE ring. All the best TJ.
