Barca starlet Gerard Deulofeu to make Premier league move

Gerard Deulofeu is another product of a fantastic Barcelona academy, however a struggle to compete with the big boys in La Liga has allowed Deulofeu the opportunity to return to the Premier League as Everton have reportedly agreed a deal for the Spaniard.

Deulofeu spent most of last season in unfamiliar territory on the bench for a very successful and dogged Sevilla team.

However a brief tenure in England with The Toffees has done enough to convince the board on Merseyside to spend £4.2 million on the midfielder.

Deulofeu signs a three year deal with Everton much to the excitement of many fans who could use extra options and flair upfront with the departure of Kevin Mirallas likely to be announced this summer. 

Roberto Martinez developed a close relationship with the player he brought on loan and it is believed Deulofeu is a big part of the Spaniard's plans as he looks to inject a creative spark into the Everton team.

21-year-old Deulofeu saw his opportunities limited at the Nou Camp and likewise in Seville. However a short stint in the Premier League was enough to convince manager Roberto Martinez that Deulofeu was worthy of paying money for.

And it appears Barcelona haven't entirely cut the cord with the playmaker as they are believed to have included a buy-back clause in the player's contract and would surely exercise that right if the player was to fulfil his obviously fantastic potential.
