WWE: Big Show makes shocking revelation on Chris Jericho podcast

Published 76 Comments

The entirety of the WWE, in its form of 'Sports Entertainment' that Vince McMahon loves so much, is based on story telling.

There are good guys and there are bad guys. In McMahon's ideal world, the bad guys would get booed out of the building every time they open their mouths, while the protagonists would get cheered to the rafters at the first bar of their entrance music.

But in this modern era, things don't work like that. Bad guys get cheered and the faces, like John Cena and Roman Reigns get aggressive reactions. And it seems like some WWE Superstars themselves are unsure what they are anymore.

Show Doesn't Know

One such WWE star is Big Show, who appeared on the Chris Jericho 'Talk is Jericho' podcast earlier today and revealed that sometimes he has no idea if he is a face or heel any more.

Show said that the amount of times he has flip-flopped between face and heel doesn't just confuse fans, but him as well, via Wrestling Inc.

"I've done so much flip-flopping sh-t, I'm still dizzy," Big Show explained. "I wake up and go 'am I a good guy or a bad guy today?' Do I smile like a goofball, or look like I haven't had a crap in two weeks?"

Big Show recently returned to the WWE after a brief absence, and continued his 7 month run as a heel, after turning on John Cena at Survivor Series to join The Authority, eventually becoming Seth Rollins' security.

20 Turns

Prior to that, however, Show had well over 20 heel and face turns throughout his 16-year WWE career.

"16 years, I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. One week I'm in a Pee Wee Herman outfit, then the next week I'm cutting these intense heel promos, then the next week I'm crying in the ring," Show said.

The interview with Jericho went into great detail about the Giant's career, even an interesting bit about his feud with Floyd Mayweather, with Show saying that it was his idea for 'Money Mayweather' to break his nose in the run up to their match at WrestleMania 24.
