Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has shared a hilarious video of himself performing a One Direction song 'More Than This' on his impressive home karaoke set-up back in his native Chile.

The South American has hardly had much time to unwind after a gruelling debut Premier League season with the Gunners having been called upon to represent his country at this summer's Copa America tournament in his homeland.

However, in a rare moment of downtime, it looks as though the 26-year-old likes to relax by flexing his vocal chords, and what better way to showcase his hidden talent than posting a snippet of the private rendition to his fans on social media.

Sanchez's stock is at an all-time high following his impressive performances during the past 12 months at the Emirates Stadium, and his popularity is likely to reach fever pitch after publicly showing his support for the most famous and successful boyband on the planet.

In a caption which accompanied the video clip, the former Barcelona man wrote: "Sometimes you have to forget the world and just be happy."

Happy is exactly what Chilean fans will be if the host nation successfully progress to the Copa America final at the expense of Peru, who they play in the competition's first semi-final in Santiago on Monday.

That will set up a showpiece encounter against the winners of Brazil v Argentina, with the tournament decider scheduled to take place on Saturday 4 July.

But for now, it's time to sit back and enjoy Alexis Sanchez like you've never seen him before....

Who do you think will win the 2015 Copa America tournament? Will Chile rein supreme against Peru in Monday's clash in the final four? Leave a score prediction in the comment box below...
