Atletico Madrid ace Arda Turan has confirmed that his agent is in talks with as many as four clubs as he goes in search of a new challenge in the game.

Taking to Twitter, the captain of Turkey claimed that certain transfer rumours aren't correct, and insisted that he will give an update if he completes a deal anytime soon.

As reported by the London Evening Standard, the 28-year-old, who has played a key role under the guidance of Diego Simeone in Spain over the past couple of years, has been linked with a number of England's elite clubs of late.

In fact, the Premier League trio of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been credited with interest in the player's signature, but it's far from certain as to whether any of the clubs are in negotiations with the player's agent.

One thing's for sure, his spell at Atletico looks set to come to an end sooner rather than later. Taking to social media, he stated: "The transfer rumors are not entirely correct.

"My agent is currently in touch with 3-4 clubs. I will update you all if a deal is made."

Bring him to England

There's no doubt about it, Turan would prove a marvelous coup for near enough any side in the Premier League. Ultimately, it appears that the trio of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are chasing him, and he'd no doubt prove a fine force at any club.

United, under Louis van Gaal, already have a number of creative players in their side, but they're clearly in need of more goals after last season's struggles. Chelsea, on the other hand, must continue to improve, and Turan would offer them even more experience, as they go in search of securing success in the Champions League next season.

Liverpool surely have to try and tempt the player with a move to Anfield, as he'd no doubt prove an incredible signing in Brendan Rodgers' new-look side. One thing's for sure, it would be great to see the Atletico man star week in, week out in the Premier League.
