The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be going all out to improve ahead of the 2015 NBA season.

The Lakers went and picked up talented point guard D'Angelo Russell with the second overall pick in the recent draft, signalling their intent to sign a star big man in free agency, by choosing to pass up on selecting Jahlil Okafor.

LaMarcus Aldridge seems to be at the forefront of the Lakers plans, while rumors have circulated about moves for both DeMarcus Cousins and even DeAndre Jordan in the past week. But it looks like one All-Star is set to reject the Lakers in free agency.

Gasol No-Go

According to a report from Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers are going to have to cross Marc Gasol off their wishlist before they've even had the chance to try and make a pitch to the Spaniard.

"Marc Gasol has no interest in the Lakers because of the uneasy last few years his brother spent with them, according to numerous people familiar with the situation,"  Bresnahan wrote.

Considering the fact that the Lakers tried to include Pau for years when he was in LA, while also deciding to play in a way that turned a five-time All-Star into a third or sometimes fourth scoring option. There's a reason Pau Gasol moved to the Chicago Bulls for less money.

Not many players would choose Memphis over Los Angeles, but blood is thicker than water and the Gasol's have apparently now blackballed the Lakers.
