Remy Cabella did not have the best season of his career last term but circumstances have changed at Newcastle United.
There is a new manager and a whole new outlook on life at the club, although he is hardly Jose Mourinho, Steve McClaren seems to have reinvigorated the players at the club.
Despite the rumours surrounding Cabella, he will be going nowhere this Summer. He has much to prove still at Newcastle and he doesn't striker me as the kind of person to give up and leave before he does what he achieves what he set out to achieve.

Cabella can turn things around at Newcastle
Cabella arrived on Tyneside last summer in a deal worth around £12 million. He was holding a lot of expectation and pressure on his shoulders, unfortunately this is something that he failed to cope with.
He scored only once in the league last year and lost his position in the first team due to his poor performances. He made his debut in the season opener at home to Manchester City last season where he really showed what he could do, he set out his stall very early and his trickery mixed with his pace kept the City defence busy for the entire game.
He made a huge impact and thus set the expectations that the Newcastle fans held him accountable to for the rest of the season.
After that game though, he seemed to just disappear. He didn't have another big game until January when Newcastle played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. He was magnificent in that game and earned the praise of many big names in the media.
Even Mourinho passed comment on his performance. This seemed to be the turning point in his season as his performances did improve on a large scale for the rest of the season. Although he still didn't play to the standard we all knew he could, he made a huge improvement.
All of this means that Remy Cabella still has a lot to prove to the Newcastle fans and his new boss Steve McClaren. I don't think he will leave Newcastle with his reputation among the fans the way it currently is, I think he will want to stay and improve his relationship and his performances for the club.
Even his father thinks that way, his Father has already come out and said that Cabella is annoyed by these rumours and that he won't be going anywhere. I believe him.
Cabella will be at St James' Park next season.
