Dutch star turns back on Louis van Gaal and the Red Devils

Published 1 Comments

Since Louis van Gaal is partial to a Dutch player or two it makes sense that reports have indicated he’s interested in PSV star Georginio Wijnaldum. Unfortunately for Manchester United fans though the talented midfielder has confirmed that he’s now ready to join Paris Saint-Germain, less than 12 months after ruling out a move to Ligue 1. Wijnaldum was part of the Holland squad Van Gaal took to the World Cup in Brazil last summer and so the United manager knows him well. It doesn’t appear though that their relationship is strong enough to convince him to move to the Premier League. On a lighter note Phil Jones has put pen to paper on a new deal tying him to Old Trafford for the next four years. The England international is still considered an important prospect for the future, and the contract in question symbolises United’s faith in his abilities.
