Vince McMahon gives main event opportunities in the WWE to the wrestlers he feels "grab the brass rings."
The apple of McMahon's eye in that regard is John Cena, the second most successful 'Sports Entertainer' in WWE history - in terms of WWE Championship wins.
Vince always likes to say that Cena grabbed the brass ring unlike any other star of the post-Attitude Era and he uses that brass ring as justice when deciding what stars he is going to demote down the match card.

Well, it seems like Cesaro hasn't forgiven Vince for the brass ring comments McMahon made about him, and finally had enough of it during last nights Monday Night Raw in Washington, D.C.
Match of The Year
Cesaro answered John Cena's US open challenge on RAW tonight and put in a 20 minute-long match that announcer Michael Cole called a contender for the prestigious Match of the Year. Kevin Owens eventually ran in and broke up a Sharpshooter from Cesaro for a DQ.

However, at one point during the match, the screen went black for a short period during a spot.
Flipping the Bird?
While Cesaro was giving Cena several European uppercuts in a row, the Swiss Superman followed them up by flipping the champion the bird. Well that's what it seemed like, and that's what the TV people saw, so they decided to blank the screen.
In actuality, Cesaro flicked his ring fingers at Cena, a very obvious reference to Vinny Mac's brass ring comments. Check it out here...
This is what McMahon said about Cesaro on the Stone Cold Podcast he appeared at the tail end of last year:
“He doesn’t quite have the charisma, he doesn’t have quite the verbal skills. Maybe it’s because he’s Swiss, I don’t know in terms of European style… at the moment, he lacks it.”
No wonder Cesaro is annoyed. How many other stars on that roster can suplex Jack Swagger from outside the ring into it? Not many out there would be able to pick Big Show up and throw him over the top rope at WrestleMania, or do his signature swing to someone who weighs over 40 pounds.
And Cesaro gets a big, natural pop from crowds, which is incredible seeing as he has been in a tag team for months.
