Chelsea are now clear favourites to sign Asmir Begovic in the summer transfer window.
SkyBet have the Blues at 1/6 to bring the player to Stamford Bridge before September 3 - an indication of how likely the bookmakers now believe a switch from Stoke City is.
Indeed, the same bookie offers odds of 6/1 that the Bosnian international remains with the Potters, whilst Aston Villa, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all priced at 10/1. Roma are next best on the list at 16/1.

The shortening of the price of Begovic joining Chelsea comes in the wake of Petr Cech's move to Arsenal yesterday, with Arsene Wenger finally getting his man after long-winded negotiations between the two clubs.
Jose Mourinho finally sanctioned the Czech Republic international's switch across the capital, but appears ready to draft in a replacement number two almost immediately as Begovic looks for an exit from the Britannia Stadium.

Chelsea and Cech
Thibaut Courtois is the current number one at Chelsea, making the position his own following an impressive spell on loan at Atletico Madrid. He helped the La Liga outfit reach the Champions League final during the 2013/14 campaign - his third year at the Vicente Calderon.
On return to west London, he got the nod ahead of Cech from Mourinho himself, and rarely put a foot wrong, to the delight of the King's Road faithful.
Begovic, meanwhile, has been Stoke's number one for several seasons. He was again first-choice last year under Mark Hughes, although found himself on the bench in May after a mistake against Sunderland.
With young England stopper Jack Butland continuing to impress, Hughes may decide his club already have the perfect replacement for Begovic, which could subsequently speed-up a move to Chelsea.
He's likely to have to contend with a role playing second fiddle in the capital of course, although his wages are sure to be on the increase at one of the Premier League's big four.
