Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah won't be joining Fiorentina over the summer, it's been confirmed by his agent.
The Egyptian was all-but expected to join the Serie A side on a permanent deal over the summer after Chelsea and Fiorentina came to an agreement over a fee of around £12.5million.
The Italian side then gave Salah a 7pm deadline last night to make up his mind about his future and about the contract they are offering him.

However, according to reports, they didn't hear back from the Chelsea star and his agent has now confirmed that he won't be joining Fiorentina.
Salah spent six-months on loan at the Italian side from January until the end of the season, scoring six goals during his time there.
Despite enjoying his time at the club, he has decided against joining them permanently and has reportedly told his agent he wants to join a different club in Serie A.
The 23-year-old was offered a contract worth £2m-a-year at the Viola, but he has informed his agent he doesn't want to join them permanently.
Salah's agent Ramy Abbas has confirmed in an interview that his client doesn't want a permanent move to Fiorentina, but does want to remain in Italy.
Agent Reveals Plans
“We have decided not to stay in Fiorentina,” Abbas told Firenzeviola.it.
“Salah will shortly move on to another Italian club.”
Fiorentina could have a case against Salah and Chelsea however as they believe they have a clause in the winger's contract claiming they can keep the Egyptian on loan for another season.
A clause was inserted in the loan deal allowing Fiorentina to turn the six-month loan deal into a season-long loan one if they couldn't come to terms on an agreement for a permanent move.
Since Salah's agent made his announcement, the Serie A side have released the following formal statement regarding the transfer saga.
"Following recent developments concerning Mohamed Salah, ACF Fiorentina would like to clarify the following points out of respect for Viola fans.
"Through his representative, the player has rejected our improved contract offer and expressed his desire to join another club.
"He has also informed us that he does not intend to respond to our request for him to report back for pre-season training.
"As a result of the above, we have placed the matter in the hands of our lawyers so that they may assess all possible courses of action in order to protect the club's rights."
