Bilic looks set to make his third signing as West Ham manager and the club's fourth of the summer.
Predicting the future?
Last month West Ham United made their second signing of the summer, bringing in Spanish starlet Pedro Obiang for the small fee believed to be around £3.5million.
Slaven Bilic admitted that the transfer was 90% done before he arrived. Soon after the deal was made David Gold welcomed Obiang, but mistakenly used a picture of Ogbonna to do so.

However with rumours circling that Slaven Bilic wants to add a world class defender to his squad it's beginning to seem more likely that Gold will need to dig out that picture again.
Who is Ogbonna?
The 27 year old Italian international, who has been capped 41 times by Juventus in the last two seasons, would be a valuable addition to the Hammers who are seeking a successful run in Europe, as well as a strong campaign in their final season at Upton Park.
It is believed that West Ham will lodge a bid in the region of £12 million for the experienced centre back.
Ogbonna began his career at Torino where he made 147 appearances for the club before his £10 million move to The Old Lady. He has not been first choice there, but he has made many appearances and Juve will be unlikely to let him leave unless they earn a small profit.
It is unclear how much of a priority this deal is, with the first course of action for Bilic being to secure a permanent deal for midfielder Alex Song, who was in the stands for the club's 3-0 win over Lusitanos, and another loan spell for full back Carl Jenkinson.
Both players are expected to sign very soon, with fees to their home clubs being the only stumbling block.
While Ogbonna is being tipped to make the move to East London he is not the only defender the club are looking at, with Aymen Abdenour also on their radar.
But the pacey Italian does seem like the prime candidate as Bilic looks to play passing football, something that requires defenders to have excellent technical skills.
Let's just hope if he is announced Gold can find the right picture this time.
