Cesaro is one of the most technically gifted superstars active in the WWE and he deserves a major push.

The Swiss Superstar has been part of the WWE since September 2011. From then till now, he has managed to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy, the United States Championship and the Tag Team Championship with Tyson Kidd.

A lot of fans thought he was going to receive a push after the Andre the Giant Battle Royal win, but that didn't. Nor did it happen when he became a Paul Heyman guy for a little while.

Then Cesaro started doing well with Kidd in tag team competition, but since the latter suffered a serve neck injury last month, Cesaro has been given more chances at singles competition.

Since then, the King of Swing has been taking all opportunities given to him, and most importantly, thriving.

He has managed to insert himself back into relevance again, and is also quite neatly involved in one of the hottest feuds in the WWE right now. Kevin Owens vs. John Cena.

My money is on Owens defeating Cena for the United States Championship at Battleground in St Louis, Missouri on July 19. What would be exciting to see is Cesaro challenging Owens for the championship at SummerSlam in Brooklyn, New York, possibly even include Cena for a triple threat.

The Swiss Sensation deserves this accolade because of the great matches he has had against Cena and Owens over the past few episodes of Raw and Smackdown.

An example of this can be seen from last night's Raw in Chicago, where Cena and Cesaro stole the show in my opinion.

After the show had gone off the air, Cena came out and praised Cesaro in what some fans are describing on Twitter as an emotionally charged promo.

The hope is Vince McMahon clocks on to the reaction Cesaro is receiving by the WWE universe and gives him the major push he deserves. His in-ring work is fantastic and his strength is too formidable to be wasted.

Cesaro is closer than any other wrestler in the WWE to the brass ring McMahon always talks about.
