The 'new face of fear'? No, this, in my opinion, is an absolute disgrace.
Bray Wyatt is an sinister character, but this doesn't make him scary. I don't understand what the WWE are trying with the new face of fear angle because quite simply it's an embarrassment.
Everyone who has heard of the WWE has a list of four or five superstars that they know, even if they have never seen any WWE programming in their entire life. One of these superstars is The Undertaker.

The Undertaker is one of the best superstars the WWE has ever had, and of course was known for his incredible Wrestlemania streak.
Alongside that The Deadman was also known for being able to instill fear in any opponent he faced with his amazing head games. In my opinion though, 'taker's most iconic feature is his entrance.

When I hear his music hit, it sends shivers down my spine like no other. There is something that The Undertaker has, his entire demeanour is just perfect for his character.
When he was on TV I feared him. I remember at the Fastlane PPV back in February, (we'll skip over how bad the show was), when 'taker's music hit I shot forward, a cold shiver rolled down my spine and my hair stood on end. I couldn't believe that he was back, seeing the druids line the ramp brought back all of the memories from my childhood.
So you can understand that when Bray Wyatt popped out of the coffin that I was absolutely furious. He had just ruined what had the potential to be one of the best returns in recent history.
When Wyatt was the leader of 'The Wyatt Family' I thought his character was brilliant, he was creepy and unhinged, you never knew what he was going to do next. I'm not ashamed to say I was a 'firefly'. However after WWE decided that they were going to split the group up, instead of keeping Wyatt's character the same, they changed it.
The problem with Wyatt being the face of fear is that he isn't scary, he's just weird. This next part is probably going to come off as a bit harsh but it is the truth.
Wyatt is taking The Undertaker's spot, but he isn't scary because he's a small, fat man with out of control facial hair, he looks like he should be sat on a street corner asking if you have any spare change.
The Undertaker was perfect for the role, the way he looked was perfect, and no, no-one will ever suit that role as well as he did, but they need someone along the same lines to ever come close to being the new face of fear.
As for Wyatt, they need to revert his character back, no more of this lights going out and him appearing behind people in the ring shenanigans because it just doesn't work, he isn't menacing enough.
Have him as the eccentric leader, the man who saw himself as a god, not the man who tried to copy The Undertaker and failed. As for this rivalry with Roman Reigns, well the less said about that the better.
